My boyfriend and i been dating for 1 year and a half .He rarely give present(only on birthdays,christmas)Candles and flower don't mean anything to him but he loves to cook.Itold him about it and give flowers the same week and things came as they were.What can i do??
How can i get my boyfriend to be more romantic?
Girl the man can cook has any man you ever been with can do that or did that for you in the pass. How romantic is that? Instead of telling him about being romantic show him how to be romantic. If he cooks for you why can't you do something romantic for him it's a give and take situation. We as women have to teach men certain things for them to learn and remember once you teach him and let him know that he can be romantic he will then know that when he does something that make you mad he can make it up to you in a romantic way. Show him how to do things you set up the scene and light candles and make a bubble bath, have champagne in the bedroom with the lights low he will catch on and he will want to do this for you on any occasion.
Reply:Maybe it's a cultural thing. As long as he shows you he loves you in other ways, like saying it, doing things for you, etc., then why stress about gifts. My husband didn't grow up with that and he doesn't do it, but he shows me he loves me every day. Don't put so much emphasis on "things". It's the love that counts, not the things.
