Serious ? especially for girls?

i'm just normal guy but i'm from different country . i'm from italy and i live in usa in ohio anyway to make the story short ....in my high school i wasn't popular student i mean i'm good looking guy but i'm really shy i mean shy ..in my freshmen year i fall in love with girl that i don't know anything about and no i don't how it happen but i did i didn't say any thing to her until my senior year and it was month after i graudate ...i started sending her flowers and love letters in her birthday and valentine day


then two days after her birthday i called her to ask out..


keep in mind that we both liked each alot but we where both shy


/..i was stupid i all ways ignored her in school even though she need next her i knew that she was thinking about me as much as i was thinking about her but she was playing hard to get so i thought i would teach lesson and part of reson is her dad hate because i'm from italy ...i called and she said no her dad was the reason. 7 years like that why???
