Will helium-filled balloons deflate or pop if kept in a closet?

Is it safe to keep helium balloons (they are the ones made of that silvery aluminum) overnight in a closet so my mom doesn't find them for her birthday tomorrow? What about flowers- will they be OK in there overnight?

The balloons will be okay in the closet as long as there isn't any sharp objects near them.

Your flowers will be okay too for 1 night.
Reply:sadly, yeah. my sister kept a balloon from something years ago. it hasn't popped, but its about half the size it used to be.it just was tied to the hanger rack and she never touched it. it kinda looks like wrinkly old lady skin.
Reply:yup.off course it will be safe there as long as theres nothing to sharp to pop it. the flowers too. but it is adviseable for u to check up on them from time to time. who knows if theres a bug or anything that can spoil them. anyway, good luck!
Reply:thye both be ok for one night i hope your mom will be surprise. just keeping it a secret from her is hard enough.
